Signing a memorandum of understanding between Mansoura University and Delta University of Science and Technology to train students of the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Nursing

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Yahya Abdel Azim Al-Mashad, President of Delta University, signed an addendum to the memorandum of understanding signed between Mansoura University and Delta University of Science and Technology during Mansoura University Council meeting session on November 29, 2023.
In the presence of Dr. Mohamed Rabie, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Delta University, and the members of Mansoura University Council. The signing ceremony was attended from Mansoura University by Prof. Maha El Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Amina El-Nimr, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and from Delta University of Science and Technology: Prof. Alaa Abdel Ghaffar, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Prof. Ahlam Al-Shaer, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.
The cooperation protocol comes within the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for coordination and cooperation to exploit the capabilities available in the state for the benefit of the Egyptian citizen and to implement the state’s health and food security policies. Based on the role of Egyptian universities in serving their communities and developing their environment in order to improve and fulfill the requirements of those communities, and their desire to provide veterinary medical services, distinguished veterinary education, and services related to nursing.
In order to activate the joint cooperation protocol for the partners in the scientific, research, industrial and advisory Delta region; Delta University’s desire to benefit from the expertise, material and human resources available at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University, to train students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Nursing at Delta University to work on raising the level of the educational process and graduating distinguished generations of young veterinarians and nurses.
