Mansoura University Choir wins first place in the arts centers festival

Prof. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, witnessed the conclusion of the 4th season of the Arts Centers Festival in the fields of (music, choir, theatre, fine arts, folk arts), during the conclusion of the festival, the Minister honored Mansoura University’s Choir for winning 1st place at the Arts Centers Festival in its 4th edition which was held on the stage of the headquarters of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the presence of musician Omar Khairat.
Prof. Ashraf Sobhi said that arts centers in universities are a real opportunity for students to explore young talents and highlight their creativity, eradicate artistic illiteracy for university students who do not specialize in artistic fields, and form new artistic professionals with an authentic Egyptian character that preserve the Egyptian identity, praising the number of graduates of the arts centers, which reached more than 7,000 participants during the previous four seasons.
Musician Omar Khairat thanked Prof. Ashraf Sobhi for inviting and honoring him at the ceremony, as well as for encouraging young people to show their artistic and cultural talents.
The conclusion included the presentation of a national medley (performance by the Mansoura University team), and the Palestine Medley, with the participation of Horus University’s musical group and Mansoura University’s choir.
