President of Mansoura University opens the first professional exhibition for the career development centers at Mansoura University

On November 28, 2023, Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, opened the events of the first career fair for the Career Development Centers at Mansoura University, in the presence of Dr. Mona Abu Al-Ezz Mohamed, Executive Director of the Career Development Centers, Dr. Tarek El-Bahi, Director of the Entrepreneurship and Employment Unit, and Dr. Hisham Yassin, Director of the Training Unit, in the presence of a large number of university students and graduates from various faculties and specializations.

The exhibition's events will continue from November 28 to 30, 2023, at the main center headquarters in the Student Services Complex in front of the Faculty of Education and many leading companies and institutions in various fields participate in the exhibition.

Prof. Cherif Khater said that the political leadership is caring for youth, believing in their role in development, pointing out that the goal of establishing career development centers is to connect students and graduates to the labor market, and to confront challenges in the labor market. These centers are a testimony to Mansoura University’s commitment to achieving its vision, which in turn is consistent with Egypt's 2030 vision of providing a competitive graduate. He added that organizing this exhibition comes to enhance cooperation with the university’s partners with the aim of learning about the professional opportunities available in institutions and companies, and to provide broader training fields for students in the public and private sectors in preparation for integrating students into the labor market.

Dr. Mona Abu Al-Ezz said that the exhibition aims to provide distinguished opportunities, effective communication with companies operating in the community surrounding the university, and knowledge of the latest job and training opportunities in the local and international market.

The exhibition provides professional services starting from preparing a CV approved by career development centers, obtaining an approved letter of recommendation from participating companies and institutions, providing professional consultations with experts in multiple fields, and providing some direct employment opportunities from participating companies.

The exhibition witnessed more than 500 students submitting their CVs, and personal interviews will be conducted for job opportunities with companies and entities participating in the exhibition.
