The International Training Course on “Basics of Urology Surgery” was held at Mansoura University with the participation of 15 doctors from the Russian Commonwealth countries

The Urology and Nephrology Center - Mansoura University, in cooperation with the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development (EAPD), organized the events of the international training course on the basics of urology surgery which lasted from 3rd  to 7th  December 2023.

The course was held under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University. The opening was witnessed by Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. El-Shaarawy Kamal, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Prof. Tamer Abu Al-Saad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Bassem Salah, Director of the Urology and Nephrology Center and Course Rapporteur. Prof. Ahmed Misbah, Head of the Urology Department.

The course was held for the first time in the countries of the Russian Commonwealth with the participation of 15 doctors. The events included daily lectures in the center’s lecture hall, live broadcasts from the operating rooms, and a review and discussion of the cases undergoing operations.
