A student at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University, won first place in the Diamond Reader Competition in the National Reading Project

Ayman Atef Yahya Mohamed, a student at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University, won first place in the Diamond Reader competition and received a prize of one million Egyptian pounds, in addition to the “Diamond Reader” cup, the “Diamond Reader” title, and a certificate of appreciation.
This took place during the ceremony of awarding the winners of the National Reading Project in its third year 2022-2023, with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Scientific Research Foundation in the United Arab Emirates. The honoring ceremony was attended by Prof. Yasser Lotfy, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Mansoura University.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, expressed his pleasure with the excellence of the university students and their obtaining advanced positions in various competitions, and his pride in them and their honorable representation of the university. Pointing out that the project helps discover new talents and competencies among our students, and that this victory revealed the cultural capabilities of Mansoura University students and their scientific and cultural superiority.
It is worth noting that the Scientific Research Foundation (Egypt - Dubai) launched the first session of the National Reading Project in March 2020, with the aim of developing awareness of the importance of reading, raising the quality of the Egyptian cultural product, and enriching libraries and community and educational institutions. The project is completing this mission in its third session according to a ten-year plan consistent with Egypt Vision 2030, and achieving cultural leadership regionally and globally.
