Mansoura University is among the best universities in the world in the Dutch Leiden University ranking for the year 2024

The result of the Dutch Leiden University ranking for the year 2024 was announced, and Mansoura University achieved great progress, as it came in 537th place among the best universities in the world, advancing 35 places from last year’s ranking, where it was in 572nd place.
The university also maintained 8th place at the African level and 3rd place at the Egyptian university level.
The university’s ranking in specializations is as follows:
- Biomedical and health sciences, it ranked 408th globally, advancing 13 places over last year, and came in the 2nd place locally.
- Mathematics and computer science, ranking 420th globally, an increase of 37 places over last year, and came in the 2nd place locally.
- Life and earth sciences came in 601st place globally, an increase of 48 places over last year, and it came in 5th place locally.
- Physical sciences and engineering, ranking 540th globally, up 57 places from last year, and ranked 5th locally.
It is worth noting that this ranking, issued by the Dutch University of Leiden, is based on the scientific production of universities as well as the extent of research cooperation with international universities. Mansoura University's continued progress in this ranking is due to the university's policy of supporting international publishing.
