Dr. Ahmed Taha congratulated the quality teams in the health facilities that succeeded in obtaining accreditation, praising the efforts of the work team at Mansoura University.
It is worth noting that the approval of the Higher Committee for Accreditation for the accreditation of health facilities is based on the reports of a team of qualified and internationally trained auditors committed to evaluating facilities through a number of evaluation visits to the facility to ensure full compliance with the accreditation standards issued by the Authority and internationally accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQUA), in addition to being subject to continuous review and development, which is the basis of the work of the Authority’s auditors, whose selection process and management system are subject to strict rules to ensure integrity, neutrality and the absence of conflicts of interest, in addition to the continuous building of their capabilities in the areas of evaluation and review.
Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, had signed a joint cooperation protocol with the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Supervision in 2023, to grant a "professional diploma" through which specialists in qualifying health facilities for accreditation are graduated according to a scientific and practical program and approach prepared by the Authority and includes the standards it issued for accrediting hospitals, centers and primary care units "GAHAR EGY-CAP", during an official visit by the Authority's delegation headed by Dr. Ahmed Taha, during which the plan for accrediting health facilities at Mansoura University was presented.
