Mansoura University President Participates in Community Dialogue on the Proposed Egyptian Baccalaureate System with Experts and Specialists

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, participated on January 14, 2025, in the first community dialogue session on the proposed Egyptian Baccalaureate System, with experts and specialists in the field of education, in the presence of Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education.
The meeting was attended by a group of former ministers, university presidents, and experts in the pre-university education, in addition to the presence of representatives of Al-Azhar and the Church.
The dialogue aims to hold a series of community meetings and dialogues and listen to various visions on the details of the proposed Egyptian Baccalaureate Certificate and what it includes in terms of reducing the number of academic subjects, in addition to the different paths that the student chooses from, and discussing the general rules for the total score, and the multiple attempts to take the exam in different subjects.
During the session, the discussion was opened to the attendees, including former ministers and university presidents, about the importance of the new system in terms of the proposed content, methods and approaches to implementation, and the obstacles that may face implementation.
