Mansoura University participates in the activities of the 56th Cairo International Book Fair

Mansoura University participates under the auspices of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, in the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair in its 56th session, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in the 5th Settlement, which continues from January 23 to February 5, under the slogan: "Read... In the beginning was the word."
Prof. Cherif Khater stressed the university's keenness to participate in the exhibition's activities by organizing free trips for its students, under the supervision of the General Administration of Student Welfare, during the exhibition period to provide an opportunity for students wishing to benefit from participating in visiting the exhibition, as it is one of the most important cultural events that represents a vital platform to encourage students to read and expand their cognitive horizons in various fields, which contributes to building an aware and educated generation. He pointed out that an official delegation from the university will visit the exhibition and inspect the aisles of the Ministries of Defense and Interior; to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the Egyptian Police Day celebrations, as well as to visit the Administrative Control Authority aisle, stressing that the exhibition represents a platform that brings together writers and authors and discusses many issues, ideas, and visions, and expresses Egypt's civilized status and its pioneering role in promoting culture and knowledge.
The participation of the University's Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector by sending a delegation representing the Central Library to carry out multiple visits to the various pavilions of the exhibition, stems from the sector's keenness to support scientific research and academic publishing by reviewing the latest publications, learning about new scientific and academic publications to support researchers and faculty members, enhancing cultural cooperation to develop research resources in the Central Library, developing the academic environment, and benefiting from cultural events and scientific workshops held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector also participates by sending the University's Community Awareness Committee, where the committee participates in cultural and artistic activities within the Children's Corner, which includes seminars, activities directed at children, and artistic events; which enhances the cultural value of the exhibition, and provides distinguished content to its audience of all ages.
The university was also keen to provide the opportunity to visit the exhibition for all its members, including faculty members and employees, by organizing trips to the exhibition for university members and their families through the Nile Club, as well as the university's faculties and various units.
