50 New Nigerian Students in Masoura University by the Next Semester

Prof. Sayed Ahmed Abd Al-Khalek; the president of Mansoura University has welcomed on Tuesday, 12.17.2013 the Nigerian delegation in the presence of Dr. Taj al-Din jumbo –High; the Nigerian Education Commissioner, Dr. Tijani Omar the director of School of Nursing in Kano State and Mr. Farouk Ibrahim- the representative of the federal government . The delegation signed an educational cooperation protocol in the undergraduate stage between the Nigerian state of Kano and Mansoura University. The protocol includes that Mansoura University is receiving 50 Nigerian students to study at the Faculty of Nursing.
President of Mansoura University stressed that this cooperation is part of the university’s strategy to contribute in the development of the educational process in the African and Nile Basin countries and opening new horizons for student and staff members exchanging between the two universities. In addition, Mansoura University is arranging to visit the Nigerian universities.
Prof. Amani Chappell; Dean of the Faculty of Nursing announced that Nigerian students will start their studying in Mansoura university by the beginning of the second semester 2013/2014 .
The attendance included Prof. Hassan Atman , Vice President for Education and Student Affairs , Prof. Magda Nasr, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research , the deans of the faculties of Medicine, Nursing , Education, the managers of medical centers and the director of foreign students office in Mansoura University.
The delegation also paid a visit to the faculties of Medicine, Nursing the Urology and Nephrology Center, Gastroenterology Surgical Center, and the Olympic Village.
