Opening the second international food conference – Faculty of Agriculture

On Monday 21st November 2016, prof/ Mohamed Kenawy – president of Mansoura University opened the activities of the 2nd international food conference entitled “the modern trends in food science and technology”, in the period from 21 to 25 November, organized by food industries department –faculty of Agriculture.
With the presence of prof/ Ashraf Abd Albaset- vice-president for education and students’ affairs, prof/ Ashraf Sweilam- vice president for graduate studies and research affairs, prof/ Yasser Mokhtar- Dean of the faculty, and a set of staff members.
Twenty eight research papers are discussing within the conference in several subjects.
Prof/ Ashraf Abd Albaset, asked for a look on the best scientific practices to improve the food industries and to apply them in all curriculum of the faculty of Agriculture.
Prof/ Mohamed Kenawy, stressed the role of researchers in employing their researches to improve the Egyptian economy.
He pointed out the role of the food industries department and the staff, in increasing production and achieving self-sufficient.
