Mansoura University welcomes members of the Indonesian embassy to increase mutual cooperation
Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University, received a delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Cairo to discuss scientific and academic cooperation between Indonesian universities and Mansoura University.
The delegation included Mr. Mohamed Aji Surya, Deputy Chief of the Embassy of Indonesia in Cairo, Prof. Dr. Bambang Suryadi, Education and Culture Attache of the Embassy.
The participants discussed during the meeting different ways to increase the number of Indonesian students at Mansoura University. The International Relations Office is assigned to communicate with different Indonesian universities to promote both undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by Mansoura University. Also, both sides agreed to organize an Indonesian cultural day at Mansoura University.
Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Baset expressed his interest in opening fields of academic, research and cultural cooperation between Mansoura University and different universities and research centers in Indonesia..
For his side, the Deputy Chief of the Embassy of Indonesia in Cairo said that he is looking forward to helping researchers and students of Indonesia to study at Mansoura University and learn more about Egyptian culture, referring to his strong desire for Indonesian universities to cooperate with Mansoura University in various fields.
Attended the meeting from Mansoura University, Prof. Mohamed Attia, Vice President for Education Affairs, Prof. Ashraf Hafez, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Hossam El Din Mostafa, supervisor of the International Students Department, Dr. Mohamed Elrefai, director of the International Relations Office , Sahar Al-Iraqi, director of the International Students Department.
