The experimental operation of the outpatient clinics of the center for Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Mansoura University
Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset visits today on Monday 28th September 2020 the experimental operation and the reception of the patients at the outpatient clinics at the new center for Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, in the framework of the preparations of opening of the center in October 2020.
It is the first center that is specialized in advanced surgeries of both specializations in Egypt and the Middle East. The center was found on an area of 1000 square meters with total cost LE 250 million. The center consists of 14 operation rooms, 82 indoor beds and 33 intensive care rooms.
The center includes 9 floors: the ground floor is for outpatient clinics and the lecturer room. The first floor includes 6 operation rooms for the vascular surgery such as, the operation room and hybrid interventional Cather system. The second floor includes 8 operation rooms for cardiothoracic, and 3 operation rooms for lung transplant. The third floor is for intensive care rooms and it includes 33 intensive care beds. The fourth floor is for the administrative services and services tools. The fifth and the sixth ones are for the internal section and the accommodation of the patients, and it includes double rooms and departments for the first day cases. The seventh one includes administrative offices, laboratories, cafeteria, research room, skills lab, meeting room and the library.
