Mansoura University allocated four eye portable health clinics to examine the blind people on the international day of blind people

The general administration of environmental projects, the community service and environmental development sector at Mansoura university organized today on Tuesday 13th October 2020 at the Nile Club, a special celebration of '' the international day of blind people'' under the slogan '' yes we can'', in the framework of celebrating the international day of blind people out of respect for the struggle of the white stick owners. The ceremony was under the patronage of prof. Ashraf Mohamed Abdel-Basset- the president of Mansoura University and prof. Mahmoud Mohamed Elmeligy, the vice president of the University Community Service and Environmental Development Sector. The participants were 50 blind people accompanied by 50 representatives of light and hope association and the school of blind people. The events of the day included the participation of ophthalmology center as it allocated 4 eye portable health clinics to examine blind people and low vision people with eye examination and offering the treatment. Besides, the clinics transferred the cases that need surgery or following up to the university ophthalmology center.

On the margin of the ceremony, a number of their products were displayed, in addition to honoring a number of blind people in different fields as well as high school elite students. Besides, they held a number of artistic activities and religious invocations. It is noteworthy that the medical examination of the eyes will be carried out by elite doctors of the university's ophthalmology center
