The Foundation Stone For The National New Mansoura University
Prof. Khaled Abdel-Ghafaar, The Minister of Higher Education and Research and Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset, The President of Mansoura University laid the foundation stone for the national New Mansoura University at Gamasa City today on Sunday 25th October 2020.
In the framework of launching the national project by the President of Egypt, Abdel-Fattah ElSisi to establish fifteen national universities which are linked to public ones.
The national project aims at offering academic programs which parallel the needs of labor market and regional development of the university's area as well as applying the international criteria to students' admission, learning strategy and acquiring talents.
Mansoura university allocated an area of fifty six acres to establish the national New Mansoura University at Gamasa City.
The national New Mansoura University includes three sectors: firstly, the sector of medical faculties ( Medicine- Dentistry- Pharmacy-Nursing). Secondly, the sector of engineering and technological faculties ( Engineering-Health Sciences Technology ). Thirdly, the sector of humanities and administrative sciences' faculties: (Economics and Administrative Sciences –Arts and Humanities).
The study at the national new Mansoura university is expected to start by the academic year 2021/2022.
The attendees were the vice-presidents of the university and a number of the university's and Dakahlia governorate's leaders.
