Mansoura University Achieves the Second Place in the National Literacy Project (Session July 2020)
Dr. Ashour Amry, the chairman of the General Authority for Adult Education sent a thanks letter to prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset, the president of Mansoura University and praised his efforts in literacy, his continuous supervision, and the effective fulfillment thanks to the Community Services and Environmental Development Affairs Sector under the supervision of prof. Mahmoud ElMeligy, the vice-president of the university for Community Services and Environmental Development Affairs. Those exerted efforts by the university made the university's students achieve the second place among the Egyptian universities in the National Literacy Project. The number of students who passed the session of July 2020 was 1547 which means that there is a turning point in the achieved results as well as in the exerted efforts to achieve distinguished results that suit the prestigious place of Mansoura University which is acclaimed nationally, regionally and internationally. This was for the sake of developing our beloved Egypt in the sustainable development plan of 2030 and following the political leadership's goal to develop and prepare the Egyptian citizen for the quality of life.
Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset, the president of the university confirmed that the university with all its members always works effectively in literacy and adult education within the framework of the national project of literacy and within the framework of partnership with the General Authority for Adult Education. This was to emphasize the societal and developmental goal of Mansoura University to enhance the university's role in achieving Egypt's development vision of 2030.
