The President of Mansoura University Discusses the Accreditation File of the Educational Programs at the Faculty of Engineering
On Wednesday 18th November 2020, Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset, the President of Mansoura University held a meeting at the faculty of Engineering regarding ''the quality and the preparation to accredit the programs and renew the accreditation of the faculty''.
The attendees were: prof. Mohamed Abdel-Azeem , the dean of the faculty of Engineering, prof. Seham Gad AlHaq, the manager of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education Center at the University, prof.Mohamed Mahdy, the vice-dean of the faculty for Education and Students' affairs, prof.Sherief Masoud, the vice-dean of the faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, prof. Sahar Sedky, the vice-dean of the faculty for Community Services and Environmental Development Affairs, prof.Ibrahim Badran, the manager of Quality Assurance Unit, heads of scientific department and managers of the programs.
The faculty hosted the following : prof.Mohamed Abdel-Majeed, the dean of the faculty of Agriculture, prof. Amir Shalaan, the deputy manager of quality assurance and university's performance evaluation center and manager of quality assurance unit at the faculty of agriculture and the managers of programs at the faculty of agriculture.
Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Azeem, the dean of the faculty of Engineering presented the stages of the faculty's preparations in order to apply for the accreditation of the programs in December 2020 by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
Prof. Ibrahim Badran, the manager of quality assurance unit at the faculty presented the strategy of the faculty throughout the year to continue the criteria of applying for accreditation by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation. Further, he presented the efforts of the faculty's member during the year 2019/2020.
Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset, the president of Mansoura University praised the efforts of the faculty of Engineering team to achieve a suitable level to apply for renewing the accreditation of the programs. Besides, he urges the universities' institutions to exchange experiences among each other to achieve the accreditation or renewing it.
