The Launching of Mansoura University's Convoy ''Bridges of Goodness (10)'' Targeting Assiut Governorate

Today on Sunday Morning 13th December 2020, Mansoura University's convoy '' Bridges of Goodness 10'' was launched to target Assiut Governorate, to offer all its medical, veterinary and agricultural services to the needy peoples of the villages, in cooperation with the university of Assiut. This is under the framework of Mansoura University's keen on achieving its communal role which results in achieving the goals of Mr. President of Egypt's initiative, regarding providing and publishing the health care in all areas of the Republic. In addition to the continuation of the group of ''bridges of goodness'' convoys which were adopted by Mansoura university since 2018.

Prof.Ashraf Mohamed Abdel-Basset, the president of the university farewelled the members of the convoy and wished them good luck in their mission. Further, he stressed on the importance of taking all preventive and precautionary procedures to avoid COVID-19 spread, this is out of his care for their health as well as the citizens' one. He noted that the convoy included a number of experts in the medical fields in the following specializations: ( general surgery, blood vessels, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology and venereology, dentistry, pediatrics, ophthalmology , otorhinolaryngology, and radiology) to sign the medical examination on the people and offering free medicine from the convoy's pharmacy as well as targeting the veterinary medicine field to sign the medical examination on animals and birds, and offering free medicine for them. In addition to the agricultural convoy to follow up the crops and provide guidelines for the farmers about how to protect the crops from pests. Besides, a team from the Center for Childhood Care and Development participated in distributing presents for children and entertainment events for them.

''Goodness Bridges 10'' Convoy will offer all its services to needy villages in Manfalout, ElFath,Abanoub and Abouteeg centers and its events will continue till the end of Thursday 17th December. This is under the patronage of Prof. Ashraf Mohamed Abdel-Basset, the president of Mansoura university, prof.Tarek Abdullah ElGamal, the president of Assiut university, major general/ Essam Saad Ibrahim, the governor of Assiut, major general/ Khaled Labib AbdulRahman, the leader of the southern military area; and head by, prof.Mahmoud Mohamed Elmeligy, the vice-president of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs and prof. Maha Kamel Ghanem, the vice-president of Assiut University for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs .
