The Opening of the Development of ElMahdy Hall at the Faculty of Commerce, Mansoura University
Today on Monday 4th January 2021, Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset- the President of Mansoura University opened the development and renewal of Prof. Ibrahim El Mahdy Hall at the Faculty of Commerce. This hall is considered one of the largest educational halls at the faculty with a capacity of more than 2000 students. It comes under the framework of the faculty's plan to develop and renew the amphitheaters and educational halls as well as raise their efficiency to cope with the modern developments of educational and learning methodologies.
The president confirmed that the faculty witnesses a turning point for years in developing the buildings of the faculty by using the modern technology and digital transformation in the educational process and examinations in order to qualify the students for various labor markets locally.
Prof. Mohamed Attwa – Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, noted that the faculty's slogan is ''Together towards a New and Modern Commerce''. Further, the processes of developing and renewing the hall comes under the framework of the faculty's plan to develop and renew the amphitheaters and educational halls as well as the educational and learning methodologies that were fulfilled through a number of stages. The Hall was fully developed and equipped by all modern technological devices as well as the central air conditioner to make the students feel comfort during their attendance at the hall. Besides, the hall was prepared for the official ceremonies, seminars and the large conferences.
The attendees were: Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, the Vice-Dean of the faculty of Commerce for Education and Students' Affairs, Prof. Abdel-Aziz Hassan, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Samah Hafez, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Khaled Mahdy, the Director of the Medical Administration.
