The Seventh International Conference of the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University discusses Paths of Scientific Research For COVID-19 Pandemic
Today on 24th February 2021, the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University organized the Seventh International Conference (the second virtual one) via video conference, entitled "Paths of Scientific Research For COVID-19 Pandemic".
This conference was held under the patronage of Prof. Khaled Abdel-Khafaar, the Minister of Higher Education in Egypt. The attendees were: Prof. Ashraf Abdel-Basset, President of Mansoura University, Prof. Ashraf Tarek Hafez, Vice-President of the University for postgraduate- studies and research, Prof. Ameena ElNemr, Chairman of the Conference and Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Abeer Zakaria, Deputy Chairman of the Conference and Vice-dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hala Gabr, the Organizer of the Conference and Prof. Awatef Kassem, The Secretary of the Conference.
The conference aims at the communication and the participation of persons who are interested in scientific research in the field of Nursing, learning and scientific research to exchange experience and present the scientific ideas, and methods of Hybrid Education during Covid-19 Pandemic. This was done by the cooperation with many universities at Arab Countries such as: the Faculty of Nursing at King Khaled University, the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabic , Abha, the Faculty of Nursing at Misan University, Iraq, and the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences, Tiba University.
The conference discussed a number of important topics such as:
· Paths of Scientific Research For COVID-19 Pandemic.
· Modern Researches in different health topics.
· Evidences, proofs, experiences and innovation in the field of Nursing.
· Hybrid education during Covid-19 Pandemic.
· Safety and quality in Health Institutions.
There were a number of participants in the conference who are interested in the scientific research and health care, and their number were more than 500 ones, in addition to participating with scientific and research papers and PowerPoint presentations.
The Recommendations of the Conference were the following:
1- Raising the consciousness of the participants about the significance of COVID-19 and how to deal with it.
2- Exchanging knowledge and different experiences among the participants who are interested in the scientific research in different internal and external scientific paths.
3- Opening new communication channels and scientific exchange with the faculties of Nursing at different Arab Countries.
