Egypt, under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, follows a strategic policy based on helping Arab countries to overcome thier crises in order to achieve security and stability in the region and its impact on Egyptian national security, with emphasis on the principle of settling disputes by peaceful means.

He added that Egypt also plays an active role in contributing to ending the crises in the Arab region and restoring stability, and what its geographical location and historical role add to it. Egyptian foreign policy towards crises in the Arab region is based on several pillars, which are summarized in preserving Egyptian national security and the threat these issues represent to the security and stability of Egypt, in addition to Egypt’s historical commitment towards the Arab countries. He also said sed that the Egyptian state, with its great people and strong army, is always working for peace and calling for the settlement of all crises through political paths that meet the aspirations of the people and respect the rules of international legitimacy, through a wise foreign policy and an insightful vision of the political leadership in foreign movement, east and west, north and south. Through it, Egypt confirms, on the way of the new republic, that it was and still is a maker of stability in its regional surroundings and even in the entire world through a balanced policy that calls for and seeks to extinguish hotbeds of tension, defuse crises, and consolidate the foundations of peace and development.

The university is not an educational institution only, but also a source within combined national and international problems merge with research and analysis. The outputs and solutions target one of the pillars of university work, which is serving the institutions of the state and society aiming to reduce the repercussions of these international crises on individuals in our beloved country.

Prof. Ibrahim Abdullah added that the aim of the conference is to raise these issues for scientific research, in order to motivate the efforts of researchers and involve them in drawing up policies to confront the repercussions of these issues and put forward scientific solutions, especially legal and economic ones, and today the world is suffering from many international crises in addition to international conflicts in our Arab region which in turn affects various aspects of life. He also said that the Faculty of Law is doing its best in proposing legal and economic solutions, which address the most important negatives that result from such international crises on the one hand, and on the other hand, involving young researchers in scientific forums that enhance their research capabilities and contribute to proposing and finding solutions that alleviate the effects of these crises for decision makers.
