Mansoura University Council honors Prof. Mohamed Ghoneim, founder of the Urology and Nephrology Surgery Center, for winning the Best Scientific Production Award in Leadership and Innovation

Mansoura University Council, during its session on February 26, 2024, No. (608), headed by Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, honored Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Ghoneim, pioneer of kidney transplantation and founder of the Urology and Nephrology Surgery Center.
In the presence of Prof. Basem Salah, Director of the Urology and Nephrology Surgery Center. The honor comes due to the research submitted by Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Ghoneim, pioneer of kidney transplantation and founder of Urology and Nephrology Surgery Center at Mansoura University, and the research team who did research on the use of stem cells to treat diabetics, winning the award for the best scientific production in leadership and innovation from among approximately 650 applicants, presented by Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, extended his sincere congratulations to the eminent scientist, Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Ghoneim, for receiving the award for the best scientific production in leadership and innovation, stressing that the award is a tribute to the scientific research of a scientist from Mansoura University, expressing the pride of the university and its members in the progress and innovation achieved by this scientist. He added that the record of Prof. Mohamed Ghoneim in the history of Mansoura University is full of many scientific and research achievements. He is the founder of Mansoura University Urology and Nephrology Surgery Center, one of the pioneer centers in the Middle East, and a leading Kidney transplant center regionally and internationally.
Prof. Mohamed Ghoneim said that honoring Mansoura University Council is a great pride, pointing out that scientific research is the royal gateway to the knowledge economy that adds power to the state abroad, and we are doing our best to participate in distinguished scientific research globally, so that there is an exchange of knowledge.
