President of Mansoura University attends the 11th International Conference of the Faculty of Nursing

President of Mansoura University during the events of the 11th  International Conference of the Faculty of Nursing “The conference is an opportunity for academics and experts to provide new insights to deal with the challenges facing the healthcare system in Egypt”.

Within the framework of the continuation of the activities of the 11th  and 7th  international conference for postgraduate studies and research at the Faculty of Nursing - Mansoura University, and the 1st  for the Faculty of Nursing - Delta University, under the title “Shaping the Future of Health Care in Egypt: Challenges and Opportunities”, whose events were held over two days at Mansoura and Delta Universities.

In the presence of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, Dr. Muhammad Rabie Nasser, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Delta University for Science and Technology, Prof. Yahya Al-Mashad, President of Delta University, and Prof. Hamdan Rabie, President of Damietta University, Prof. Amina El-Nemr, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, Prof. Ahlam Al-Shaer, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Delta University, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Secretary General of Mansoura University, Prof. Al-Shaarawi Kamal, Executive Director of Mansoura University Hospitals.

In his speech, Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater praised the fruitful and constructive cooperation between Mansoura University and public and private universities in the Delta region. He also praised the cooperation with Delta University, especially in the medical sector. He added that Mansoura University is considered the capital of medicine in Egypt and that the medical sector is one of the university’s points of excellence, and that the international accreditation of the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University by the German Authority (AHPGS) is a new excellence for the medical sector at the university as a result of the efforts of the faculty members and students at the Faculty of Nursing.

He pointed out that the conference is an opportunity for academics and experts to present new visions to deal with the challenges facing the health care system and propose the necessary plans for the future of health care in Egypt and contribute to building a high-quality health care system.

The conference’s aims are consistent with Egypt’s 2030 vision to improve the quality of health services provided to the citizens and enhancing scientific research in Egypt.

At the conclusion of the events, Dr. Mohamed Rabie Nasser, presented the university’s shield to Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, in appreciation of the fruitful and constructive cooperation between the two universities.
