President of Mansoura University honors the martyrs of the Egyptian army, the police, and the White Army with the symposium “Identity... The Story of a Homeland”

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, honored the families of the martyrs of the army, the police, and the White Army, in conjunction with the celebration of Martyr’s Day, during the activities of the “Identity... The Story of a Homeland” symposium, which was organized within the initiative: “Our Identity... Our Issue.” To protect national identity and spread awareness of Egyptian identity, which is the 1st event - the 2nd session 2024 of the Cultural Salon, which is hosted by the Faculty of Arts.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater said that the university is doing its best to implement the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic towards activating the methodology of disseminating a cultural strategy stemming from a safe intellectual, civilizational and cultural awareness, within the framework of the university’s vision to enhance cultural awareness and exchange it among those with cultural thought and transfer it to the promising young generation.
The university president pointed out that the cultural salon is an intellectual and educational platform for exchanging thought and experiences, and aims to achieve several purposes, the most important of which is enhancing the values of belonging to the homeland. He added that the Egyptian state went through difficult circumstances, as it was always targeted by external forces from all sides, and without the management of the Egyptian state, the will and steadfastness of the Egyptian people, their defense of the homeland, and the blood of the martyrs, we would not have achieved what the Egyptian state has achieved in preserving the land and capabilities of this country, pointing out that the significant and notable achievements in all sectors of the country have been achieved in ten years.
He also paid tribute to the souls of the martyrs from the Egyptian army and the police for the scarification of their lives for the sake of the security and stability of the nation. He also paid tribute and appreciation to the martyrs of the White Army, who presented a unique model of giving and sacrificing their lives to confront the COVID epidemic, which has invaded the world at the beginning of 2020.
