President of Mansoura University honors the students who won first places in international competitions

President of Mansoura University: Egypt’s youth and Mansoura University are capable of achieving excellence in international forums in various fields.
Khater: The first positions achieved in the world represent the Egyptian will to achieve excellence and creativity in various fields.
During the University Council session on June 26, 2024, Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, honored the students who won first places in international competitions.
Assoc. Prof. Abeer Tawakkol, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer and Systems Engineering, Director of the Technological Innovations Unit, and Director of the Huawei Academy Branch at the Faculty of Engineering, was honored for the great and distinguished efforts she provided to the competing students and their support in all the steps and details throughout the Huawei Global ICT Competition, during its events inside and outside Egypt.
The following were honored: Student Amir Muhammad Shtayyeh, Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, for his team obtaining first place in the field of cloud services, and student Ahmed Muhammad Al-Sharkawi, Department of Computer Engineering and Control Systems, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, for his team obtaining first place as a team in cloud computing in the Huawei Global ICT Competition in Shenzhen, China for the year 2023-2024. The student, Adel Shabab Awad, Faculty of Commerce, and a player on the Egyptian national team for people with disabilities in karate, was also honored for winning third place and a bronze medal during the final competitions of the World Championship held in Budapest, Hungary.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater said that Mansoura University is always working to achieve the vision of the Egyptian state, by providing all aspects of support for all students’ talents in various fields in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on the importance of caring for the gifted, geniuses and innovators, within the framework of the national strategy for higher education and scientific research, he added that the university is working to create a stimulating and supportive environment for excellence and innovation, developing talent and creativity, and overcoming all obstacles for their participation in various regional and international forums in a manner appropriate to the pioneer Mansoura University.
He added that the youth of Egypt and Mansoura University are capable of achieving excellence in international forums, and that the first positions that have been achieved in the world reflect the strength of the Egyptian will to achieve excellence and creativity in various fields, noting that they represent pride for the university and the nation, and that their achievements confirm that Egypt possesses a human wealth of creative competencies and talents.
