President of Mansoura University hosted a camp for preparing social leaders for students of the Higher Institute of Social Service

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, participated in the activities of the social leaders’ preparation camp for students of the Higher Institute of Social Service in the city of Gamasa, held at the permanent camp of Mansoura University in the city of Gamasa on June 25, 2024.
In the presence of Dr. Muhammad Rabie Nasser, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Delta University for Science and Technology, Prof. Yahya Al-Mashad, President of Delta University for Science and Technology, Prof. Muhammad Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of Mansoura University for Education and Students, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Mr. Hazem Nasr, journalist for Al-Akhbar newspaper, Prof. Ihab Nasser Khalifa, Chairman of the Institute’s Board of Directors, Prof. Reda Salama, Dean of the Institute, Prof. Ibtisam Refaat, Vice Dean of the Institute for Education and Students, Prof. Magdy Suwaidan, Vice Dean of the Institute for training and youth care.
Dr. Mohamed Rabie delivered a welcoming speech to the guests, expressing his pleasure at their presence, stressing his constant pride at Mansoura University for its distinguished achievements at the local and international levels, and for the cooperation it provides in the field of higher education and scientific research.
A meeting was held with the students participating in the camp, during which Prof. Cherif Khater dicussed the most important youth issues, the important role of the state in supporting its youth, and the achievements it makes in the university education file in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
He pointed out that the Delta Educational Institutions entity was able to occupy a strong place among private education institutions due to its programs and teaching methods that qualify a distinguished graduate in the labor market who can keep pace with modern developments.
The talk also touched on the state's important role in adding universities in various governorates, and opening national and private universities, in light of climate change and its impact on sustainable development. He stressed the importance of developing youth awareness through camps and training programs for university youth.
Prof. Cherif Khater and the representatives thanked and appreciated Dr. Mohamed Rabie, the camp administration, and all the participating students for the warm reception. Dr. Mohamed Rabie also presented the Delta Academy shield to Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University.
