President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi honors Moamen Sabry, Mansoura University Club player, for winning the gold in the African Karate Games Championship (Ghana) 2024

His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, honored the player Moamen Sabry Mahmoud Ismail, player of Mansoura University Sports Club, who won first place in teams and third in individuals in the African Games Championship in Karate (Kata). This was during the celebrations honoring His Excellency the President of the Republic for the players who won gold medals in the African Games (Ghana) 2024.
In the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mr. Yasser Idris, President of the Olympic Committee.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater said that His Excellency the President of the Republic pays great attention to sports and athletes in Egypt and continues to provide them with all aspects of support at all levels, and honoring Mansoura University player reflects the Egyptian state’s appreciation for excellence and creativity in various fields.
The university president also expressed his pride in honoring Mansoura University player for achieving this distinguished level and winning the gold medal at the African Games (Ghana) 2024. He added that the university provides full and continuous support to all the university’s youth to contribute to enhance their talent and innovation to achieve sustainable development to motivate distinguished players that Egypt is proud of in sports forums locally and internationally.
It is worth noting that the player won many medals and many championships, and the player is trained by Dr. Mohamed Ramzi El Gohary, the karate coach at Mansoura University Sports Club.
