Launching the activities of the presidential initiative “Bedaya – A New Beginning for Human Building” in the Education and Student Sector at Mansoura University

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, inaugurated the launching of the activities of the presidential initiative " Bedaya -A New Beginning for Human Building" in the Education and Student Sector, based on the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, which aims to unleash the skills of university youth, and support their talents in various fields, and in accordance with the controls and rules approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the new academic year 2024-2025 to implement plans for various student activities (sports, artistic, cultural, and social), support talented students, strengthen and support team spirit, and consolidate and document human ties between students, which are among the most important ways to integrate students into society. In the presence of Dr. Walid Al-Tantawi, Assistant Secretary for Student Education Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Mariam Wissa, Coordinator of the Presidential Initiative " Bedaya A New Beginning for Human Building" in the Education and Student Sector, and the initiative coordinators in the various faculties, Mr. Ahmed Al-Ashry, Director General of Student Care, Ali Ismail, Head of the Student Union, and the initiative activities are organized by the General Administration of Student Welfare, the Student Union, and the Students for Egypt Family.

Prof. Cherif Khater said that these activities come in implementation of the presidential initiative " Bedaya A New Beginning for Human Building" within the framework of the state's orientation to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, empower youth and develop their skills, to open new horizons for creativity and innovation, pointing out that the university has prepared a clear map of student activities that includes all sports, cultural, and artistic fields in order to achieve the goals of the initiative, develop the personality of university students and qualify them for the labor market, and entrepreneurship regionally and internationally.

The initiative areas include:

- "The Beginning of My Career" project in cooperation with the Education and Student Sector Centers to create programs for personal skills, leadership qualification, professional development, and physical and psychological enhancement for university students.

- "The Beginning of My Success" seminar series that includes a group of awareness seminars about success stories and how they started.

- "The Beginning of the Story" visits and trips program that includes visits to archaeological sites, heritage sites, and military visits to increase national awareness and belonging among university students and build and enhance the Egyptian identity.

- "The Beginning of My Health" program, which is a health awareness program about the harms of drugs, healthy nutrition programs, healthy habits, correcting misconceptions about health, first aid convoys, and health awareness

- "The Beginning of My Family" program, an awareness program about the family, early marriage, childbirth, and building a family

- 100 Days of Sports Initiative

- "Together the Beginning" Regional Alliance Forum to exchange student ideas and visits between regional alliance universities to hold student discussion groups to develop cultural awareness and exchange positive ideas among students in various specialties.
