Bahraini Cultural Attaché at Mansoura University to Discuss Ways of Cooperation and Check on Students' Conditions

On October 10, 2024, Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, received Dr. Kholoud Rashid Matar, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Cairo, to discuss ways of cooperation, check on the conditions of Bahraini students studying at Mansoura University, and discuss increasing the number of students at the university in postgraduate studies
In the presence of Prof. Tarek Ghualwash, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Abeer Zakaria, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Al-Moatasem Billah Al-Bahrawi, General Supervisor of the Administration of International Students, Deputy General Supervisors: Dr. Shaima Abdel Wahab, Dr. Ahmed Salah, Dr. Alia Makkia, Director of the International Students Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Nagar, Director of the International Students’ Office.
Prof. Cherif Khater welcomed Dr. Kholoud Rashid, stressing Mansoura University’s keenness to care for its international students of all nationalities studying in various faculties and specializations, pointing out that Mansoura University obtained institutional accreditation as the first Egyptian university accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, and seeks through its strategy to improve the quality of graduates and achieve competitiveness by preparing distinguished students in all scientific fields, to meet the needs of the labor market at the local, regional and international levels, stressing the keenness of Mansoura University to care for international students of different nationalities, and its constant endeavor to be a destination for international students due to its excellence of specializations and offering educational programs based on the credit hour system according to international standards, as well as the university’s distinction and advanced ranking in international rankings.
Dr. Kholoud Rashid praised the excellence of Mansoura University as a scientific beacon in Egypt and the entire Arab world, and the efforts of the Mansoura University in caring for Bahraini students and overcoming obstacles. She also praised the effective and continuous communication between the attaché and the university's international students' administration in a way that serves the interests of Bahraini students, within the framework of the distinguished relations that link Mansoura University with the Bahraini Cultural Attaché.
Prof. Tarek Ghalwash said that Mansoura University has an advanced global ranking, which is reflected in the level of students and researchers and the various experiences and skills that qualify them for the local, international and regional labor market.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Kholoud Rashid held a meeting with Bahraini students studying in various faculties in the presence of the directors of the international students' administrations, and their problems, inquiries and obstacles they face during their studies at the university were discussed.
