Mansoura University President receives the Head of the Cultural Office at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo to enhance ways of joint cooperation

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, received Dr. Khaled Al-Muhareb, Head of the Cultural Office at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo on December 25, 2024, to enhance ways of joint cooperation between the two sides, and to learn about the conditions of Kuwaiti students studying at Mansoura University.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Walid Al-Shennawy, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Geidi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Al-Moatasem Billah Al-Bahrawi, General Supervisor of the Administration of International Students, Assoc. Prof. Shaima Abdel-Wahab, and Dr. Ahmed Salah Nawab, Deputy General Supervisor.

Prof. Cherif Khater discussed the depth of relations and ties between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti peoples, pointing out Mansoura University's keenness to develop relations with various educational institutions in the State of Kuwait. He also reviewed the university's achievements and its multiple international partnerships in various sectors, as well as its obtaining institutional accreditation, as the first Egyptian university to be accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education in Egypt, and 10 of its faculties obtaining accreditation. It also has a medical sector that includes 13 hospitals and specialized medical centers, with a prestigious reputation and position locally and internationally, accredited by the Arab Council for Medical Specializations affiliated with the Council of Arab Health Ministers, to obtain the Arab Board in various clinical and medical specialties, and also the university's occupation of advanced positions in various international rankings.

Dr. Khaled Al-Muharib expressed during his meeting his honor to visit the prestigious Mansoura University for the first time, thanking the distinguished cooperation taken by Mansoura University to overcome all difficulties facing Kuwaiti students at the university. He added that the State of Kuwait's strategy was one of its top priorities to send Kuwaiti students to study in prestigious Arab universities, with Mansoura University at the forefront of these universities, due to its distinction and uniqueness in many fields and international educational programs in the Middle East.

The meeting discussed topics related to incoming students from the State of Kuwait in the various faculties of the university, at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

A documentary film about Mansoura University was then shown, presenting all sectors, faculties and services provided.

At the end of the meeting, the two parties exchanged gifts of Mansoura University shield and the Cultural Office shield of the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo.
