Mansoura University President in a surprise visit to university dormitories

The university president checks on the conditions of students in university dormitories and listens to proposals to improve the level of services and directs their implementation
Prof. Cherif Khater: Disbursement of an exceptional bonus to staff participants in preparation and equipment and cooks in the kitchens of Al-Amal and Al-Zahraa Dormitories.
Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, on December 29, 2024, made a surprise inspection tour of the dormitory of "Al-Amal" for male students, and the dormitory of "Al-Zahraa" for female students, as part of his follow-up of the services provided to students residing in university dormitories, accompanied by Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, in the presence of Ms. Hiam Abdel Aal, Director General of University Dormitories, and Mr. Walid Safwat, Deputy Director General of Dormitories.
During the tour, Prof. Cherif Khater met with students, listened to them and their opinions about the level of services in the university Dormitories. He also checked on their academic conditions, discussed their suggestions for improving the services provided to them, and various topics related to the educational process and exams. He listened to their opinions to know the extent of their satisfaction with the meals and service, and had lunch with the students inside the dorm’s central restaurant in Al Amal Dormitory.
The university president directed the disbursement of an exceptional bonus to the staff participating in the preparation and equipment and cooks in the kitchens of Al Amal and Al Zahraa dormitories, due to the positive comments he received from the students and their praise for the quality of the meals provided. The university president stated during the visit that the university administration is keen on continuous follow-up to raise the efficiency of buildings and maintenance and quality work periodically, and to follow up on the special needs of the rooms and provide them, adding that the university dormitories at Mansoura University are working to provide a suitable environment for students to practice activities so that they can continue studying in a suitable environment that motivates them to succeed and excel academically.
It is worth noting that Mansoura University includes the following dormitories: "Al-Amal for male students – Al-Galaa for male students - Zahraa for female students - Jehan for female students - Republic for female students." The total number of male dorms can accommodate a total of 2,508 male students, while the female dorms can accommodate a total of 3,818 female students. Al-Amal Dormitory restaurant hall can accommodate 700 male students, and the Zahraa Restaurant Hall can accommodate 600 female students.
