Mansoura University Council held its session No. "619" on January 20, 2025, headed by Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and in the presence of Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, and the members of the Council.
The Council began its work by presenting a report on the summary of the university's activities and achievements, which addressed the most important topics during January 2025.
The Council approved the granting of academic titles and appointments (19 professors - 14 assistant professors - 17 lecturers).
A report on the progress of the educational process in the university's faculties for the month of December 2024 was approved. The proposal to conclude a cooperation agreement between the university represented by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kasetsart University - Thailand was also approved, as well as the proposal to conclude a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Xinjiang Agricultural University (XJU)- China and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the university, as well as the proposal to conclude a memorandum of understanding between the university represented by the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Civil Engineering at McMaster University - Canada in the field of transportation and traffic, in their final forms, after making the required amendments from the Supreme Council of Universities. The proposal to conclude a memorandum of understanding between the university and Shenyang Jianzhou University - China was also approved with the aim of enhancing research cooperation between the two parties, and the proposal to conclude a cooperation protocol between the university and Ain Shams University regarding intensifying and activating academic and research cooperation and enhancing knowledge exchange. The proposal to conclude a cooperation protocol between Mansoura University and the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences was approved.
The annual report was presented to measure the university's performance indicators on the electronic portal of the unified government complaints system at the Cabinet, as well as petitions and complaints at the university's Citizen Service Office during the period from 1/1/2024 to 12/31/2024, and a report on measuring performance indicators and analyzing electronic complaints received from the unified government complaints system related to university hospitals and medical centers at the university for the same period. The university's application to participate in the Technology Marketing Offices (OTC) initiative announced by the Academy of Scientific Research was also approved, to achieve common goals that contribute to advancing the wheel of development and achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.
