President of Mansoura University and Governor of Dakahlia inspect the National Day celebration hall of the governorate at the Faculty of Commerce

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, inspected on January 20, 2025, the preparations of the Grand Conference Hall at the Faculty of Commerce, which will witness the launch of the activities of the celebration of the National Day of the governorate, in a precedent that is the first of its kind in the history of the governorate by launching the activities of the National Day celebration of the governorate from within Mansoura University.

In the presence of Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Adl, Deputy Governor of Dakahlia, they were received by Prof. Mona Ibrahim Al-Dakroury, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Prof. Samah Hafez, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Mona Mohamed Al-Sayed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.

The Governor inspected the surroundings of the hall, the paths leading to it, as well as the designated place for a rest area for important visitors, and the initial vision for the celebration implementation plan.

Prof. Cherif Khater expressed his pleasure with the launch of the National Day celebrations of the governorate, from inside Mansoura University in a precedent that is the first of its kind, and with a kind initiative from Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, which confirms the cooperation and close relationship between the two sides, as well as the Governor's appreciation for the value of the university, and the role of the academic community and scientific research in building the nation and raising future generations. He also praised the great efforts witnessed by the governorate, in various service and development files and projects that serve citizens, under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and under the leadership of Major General Tarek Marzouk, wishing for more excellence and creativity.

Prof. Cherif Khater said that the university will do its best to implement a celebration at the highest level, in which the education sector, students, and the General Administration of Youth Welfare will participate with their distinguished staff, and provide all the logistics required for the celebration to come out in a proper manner.
