Vice President of Omar Al-Mukhtar University of Libya visits Mansoura University to enhance cooperation

Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies, Research and Cultural Relations, received on February 6, 2025, Prof. Afdhil Omar Al-Awami, Vice President of Omar Al-Mukhtar University for Scientific Affairs, in the presence of Assoc. Prof. Yosra Al-Far, Deputy Director of the International Relations Office, Prof. Abdul Wahab Ramadan Obeya, Professor of Agricultural Engineering, and Dr. Al-Amir Hassan Atta, Department of Agricultural Economics.
The meeting discussed enhancing ways of joint cooperation between the two sides, and supporting scientific and technological cooperation between the two universities with the aim of integration in the fields of teaching, training, student and academic exchange, and creating study programs in cooperation with Mansoura University. The conversation also touched on the desire of both sides to renew a cooperation protocol between the two universities in the fields of training, scientific research and information technology.
Prof. Tarek Ghalwash welcomed Prof. Afdil Al-Awami to Mansoura University, stressing the depth of the ties and strong relations between Egypt and Libya throughout history, and Mansoura University's interest in building scientific and academic communication with various Arab and African universities.
During the meeting, he also reviewed the research and service capabilities that Mansoura University can provide to researchers in order to enhance scientific research.
Prof. Afdil expressed his great pleasure to visit Mansoura University, stressing his pride in the university's scientific and academic status and prestigious reputation and the tangible progress it has achieved in the education sector.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash presented the shield of the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at the university to the Vice President of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in appreciation of his efforts in enhancing cooperation with Mansoura University.
