Mansoura University receives the 2nd semester of the academic year 2024-2025

-      The completion of all necessary preparations and arrangements and the regularity of study on the first day of the second semester is a must.

-       All faculties have completed announcing lecture schedules and implementing the plan for cultural, artistic, sports and social student activities in conjunction with the regularity of study.

Mansoura University witnessed regularity in study and the influx of students to the university campus on the first day of the start of the second semester, which begins on Saturday, February 8, 2025, according to the time map specified by the Supreme Council of Universities.

Prof. Cherif Khater confirmed the completion of all necessary preparations and arrangements for the start of the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025, noting that maintenance work on buildings, lecture halls, classrooms and laboratories has been completed, a review of the construction efficiency of university facilities, and the completion of the readiness of university cities to receive international students within the framework of commitment to occupational safety standards.

He also pointed out that all arrangements for the study and the educational process system have been completed, as well as preparing and announcing study schedules, distributing lectures, publishing electronic courses, and announcing the results of the first semester, in addition to providing all the quality elements required for the study, within the framework of implementing the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education.

The university president said that the second semester will include many student activities, community services, and scientific conferences, which aim to raise the level of awareness among university students of community issues, at various levels locally, regionally, and internationally, pointing out the importance of student activities in building the character of students and developing their awareness, due to their positive impact in refining students' skills and enhancing their ability to innovate and communicate effectively, in addition to their role in confronting misinformation and incorrect ideas. He also pointed out that the mid-year vacation witnessed the university's participation in a number of student competitions in the cultural, artistic, cultural, social, and sports fields, the 56th Cairo International Book Fair, as well as participation in the summit forum for leaders of student unions in Egyptian universities and institutes, and other various events and activities.

Prof. Cherif Khater extended his sincere wishes to the university students for continued excellence and success, wishing them a successful semester. He also extended his sincere thanks to the university vice presidents, deans, vice deans, faculty members, and administrative staff at the faculties and university for their sincere efforts to achieve the highest efficiency in the educational process, which was reflected in the distinguished level of students.

It is worth noting that according to the time map approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025 begins on Saturday, February 8, 2025, and studies continue for 16 weeks, ending on Thursday, May 29, 2025. The second semester exams will be held during the month of June 2025, according to the study and exams in each faculty.
