Conclusion of the activities of the 4th Graduates and Employment Forum of the Faculty of Physical Education

The Faculty of Physical Education concluded on Febraury,23, 2025, the activities of the 4th Graduates and Employment Forum of the Faculty of Physical Education, which was held from February 17, 2025 to February 23, 2025, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, and organized by Prof. Khaled Mohamed Ziyada, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and coordinated by Prof. Amr Ali Shady, Director of the Graduates Follow-up Unit at the Faculty of Physical Education.

Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim praised the efforts made by the Faculty of Physical Education in organizing this forum, stressing the university's interest in organizing these events to support graduates and qualify them for the labor market, which reflects Mansoura University's commitment to qualifying its graduates and providing them with the necessary skills to keep pace with the changing requirements of the labor market.

Prof. Ahmed Abdel Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, expressed his pleasure with the success of the forum, stressing the faculty’s keenness to continue organizing such events in the future, stressing that 6 workshops were held during the forum, in which 750 students and graduates participated, and included various topics such as "writing a CV", "career planning", "passing personal interviews", "administrative skills for establishing and operating sports projects", "specialized therapeutic nutrition", and "artificial intelligence applications in sports sciences"

The workshops were presented by Prof. Mohamed Mahmoud Amin Ziyada, Prof. Shahenda Salah El-Din Hussein Sarhan, Prof. Mohamed El-Sayed Mohamed Khamis, Prof. Mona Abu El-Ezz Mohamed Abu El-Ezz, Dr. Sarah Mohamed El-Morsi, and Ms. Hoda Yasser Saad Ahmed, with wide participation from students and graduates of the faculty who were keen to attend throughout the days of the forum.

The forum concluded with a closing session that included a meeting with beneficiaries from public and private schools, representatives of sports clubs, representatives of the Youth and Sports Directorate, youth centers, and many distinguished graduates in their field of work.

The recommendations of the forum were announced, which included the importance of developing graduates' skills to keep pace with the labor market by including specialized training courses in various fields of sports sciences, enhancing cooperation between the faculty and employers by signing cooperation protocols with sports and educational institutions and private economic companies to provide training and employment opportunities for graduates at the college, creating an electronic platform that links graduates with potential employers in the sports market, the need to support entrepreneurship and emerging projects in the sports field, and the participation of experts and practitioners in updating the curricula and courses at the faculty to ensure their compatibility with the modern requirements of the labor market, and establishing a sports business incubator within the college to support innovative ideas.
