Prof.Cherif Khater emphasized that organizing the forum falls within the framework of Mansoura University's commitment to implementing the directives of the political leadership and achieving the goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, one of the most important principles of which is achieving integration between educational institutions. To implement the state's vision for sustainable development, Egypt 2030, and based on Mansoura University's belief in the importance of student communication, raising awareness, and strengthening ties between students at Egyptian universities through joint student activities, Dr. Sherif Khater welcomed the delegations of participating universities, emphasizing that the launch of this forum strengthens ties between universities in the Delta region and is a unique opportunity for students to meet, interact, communicate, and exchange ideas and experiences in an environment that stimulates creativity and excellence and supports student talents in various cultural, sports, and artistic fields. He wished them a pleasant stay at the Gemsa Camp and the launch of the forum's opening activities.

Prof. Montaser Dowidar delivered a speech during the forum, thanking Prof. Cherif Khater for the kind invitation. He expressed his pleasure to participate in the Delta Universities Alliance Ramadan Forum, one of seven alliances in the country. He added that Delta universities are distinguished by their long history and diversity, encompassing a number of public, national, and technological universities. This provides a unique opportunity for students from various universities to network, get to know each other, and exchange experiences and information.

Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi welcomed the delegations participating in the opening of the first Delta Universities Ramadan Forum, noting that the Gamasa Camp was decorated to welcome students from 12 universities in a friendly and fraternal gathering that fosters friendship, integration, and mutual understanding among students from the region. The four-day gathering, which will feature 200 students from Delta universities, will also participate in the forum's sports, cultural, and religious activities, amidst a pleasant Ramadan atmosphere.

The forum's first day featured a number of events and activities combining sports, culture, and technology. These activities began with a religious chanting ceremony, followed by five-a-side football matches.

This forum is the first of its kind in the Delta region. It is not limited to a sporting event, but rather represents an integrated platform that contributes to developing students' leadership and communication skills, fostering a spirit of competition and creativity, and embodying the university's vision of providing a comprehensive educational experience that extends beyond the classroom, helping students develop their skills and prepare to face future challenges with confidence and competence.

It is also worth noting that the forum's most prominent activities include a five-a-side football tournament, a table tennis tournament, PlayStation and electronic gaming competitions, cultural and scientific activities, and the best team within the student community initiatives.
