Prof. Cherif Khater: - Mansoura University continues its progress by being among the top 500 universities worldwide in 13 academic disciplines.
The QS World University Rankings is one of the most prestigious academic rankings in the world, used as a primary reference for assessing the quality of universities and their academic programs.
Prof. Cherif Khater congratulated Mansoura University staff of scientists, researchers, all other staff and praised the efforts of the Graduate Studies and Research Sector.
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, announced the university's continued excellence at the international and local levels in the 2025 QS World University Rankings. This ranking is one of the most prestigious academic rankings in the world, used as a primary reference for assessing the quality of universities and their academic programs.
The university president explained that the QS rankings demonstrated the university's global progress, as it was among the top 500 universities worldwide in 13 academic disciplines. It ranked in the 51-100 global category, and 1st locally in veterinary medicine. In mathematics, it ranked in the 401-450 global category, advancing 100 international positions from last year and 2nd locally. Mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, and manufacturing ranked in the 401-450 global category, advancing 100 international positions from last year and 3rd locally. In agriculture and forestry, it ranked in the 251-300 global category and 3rd locally. In biological sciences, it ranked in the 401-450 global category, advancing 50 international positions from last year and 3rd locally. In materials science, it ranked in the 401-550 category globally, it ranked 3rd locally. In medicine, it ranked 351-400 globally and 4th locally. In electrical and electronic engineering, it ranked 401-450 globally, advancing 50 places internationally from last year and 4th locally. In computer science and information systems, it ranked 501-550 globally, advancing 50 places internationally from last year and 4th locally. In chemical engineering, it ranked 401-450 globally and 4th locally. In chemistry, it ranked 451-500 globally and 4th locally. In pharmaceutical sciences, it ranked 201-250 globally and 4th locally. In environmental sciences, it ranked 451-500 globally and 4th locally.
Prof. Cherif Khater emphasized the university's commitment to implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to raise the quality and competitiveness of the university education system and achieve the sustainable development goals related to Egypt's Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to promote international publishing and develop scientific research policies. He had akso congratulated all Mansoura University staff of sciengists, researchers, and all university staff on this achievement, which is the result of adherence to international standards, in addition to the contributions of the university's scholars in various disciplines at all global levels. He also commended the significant efforts made by the university's Graduate Studies and Research Sector to develop the scientific research system and enhance the quality and international dissemination of research. He also noted that Mansoura University continues to advance in international rankings, thanks to its commitment to a series of measures implemented to advance its performance in all fields and sectors. This reinforces its position as a leading university in education and scientific research at the local, regional, and global levels.He emphasized that the university will continue its efforts to improve ranking indicators by enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, investing in the training and development of faculty members, encouraging internationally influential scientific research, and ensuring that distinguished research output is published in prestigious international journals.
