Mansoura University President Receives External Audit Committee During Visit to Renew ISO 9001 Quality Management System Accreditation

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, received the Audit Committee to renew the accreditation of the University's General Administration's Quality Management System. This visit was part of the internal audit committee's visit program, selected by the awarding company, which included a thorough review of all implemented procedures and policies, ensuring the efficiency of the administrative system and its compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim Mohamed, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Mr. Saad Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Secretary General of the University; Dr. Walid Ali El-Tantawy, Assistant Secretary General for Education and Student Affairs and Head of the Internal Audit Team; and Prof. Bishoy El-Qess Sayedhom Beshai, Director of the Center for Excellence and Future Foresight and Quality Manager for ISO 9001.
The External Audit Committee was also represented by Dr. Mohamed El-Hafnawy and Dr. Ebtessam Ahmed Mounir.
Prof. Cherif Khater welcomed the Internal Audit Committee, noting the university's commitment to implementing quality systems and standards at all levels, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030. He added that the university continues to implement international best practices to achieve leadership in all fields.
The university president emphasized the excellence and quality of the university's management system and administrative apparatus. He also emphasized its position as a leading educational institution that works to implement international quality standards, adopt a modern administrative system, and leverage human resources, strategies, leadership styles, advanced organizational structures, modern systems and procedures, and diverse skills. Furthermore, the university relies on digitization and technological advancement, which contributes to the full realization of its mission.
Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim emphasized that the renewal of the ISO 9001 certification reflects the university's commitment to continuous improvement and the provision of academic and administrative services at the highest levels of efficiency and transparency, in line with sustainable development plans.
Mr. Saad Mohamed Abdel Wahab also noted that the external audit demonstrated the progress the university has made in enhancing the efficiency of administrative operations and achieving the highest levels of institutional quality, strengthening its position among leading academic institutions.
Dr. Walid Ali Al-Tantawi said that the university has succeeded in developing its administrative system in accordance with the latest quality standards, emphasizing that the coming period will witness further improvements to enhance institutional performance.
Dr. Bishoy Al-Qes explained that the success of the external audit was the result of the cooperation of all university sectors and their teamwork to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved in all administrative and academic operations.
Dr. Mohamed El-Hafnawy, representative of the donor company, confirmed that the university is implementing ISO 9001 standards with high efficiency. He noted that the external audit yielded positive results, with some development recommendations being made to enhance performance and achieve further sustainable improvements.
The audit team also commended the university's commitment to implementing quality standards, integrating administrative systems, and ensuring continuous development in accordance with international best practices. The team also emphasized that the university operates according to an integrated system that contributes to achieving operational efficiency, improving the work environment, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
