Mansoura University President Attends the Opening of the Annual Iftar Gathering for Students for Egypt

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, attended the opening of the Iftar gathering on March 12, 2025, organized by the Students for Egypt family in cooperation with the University Student Union and the General Administration of Student Welfare. The Iftar gathering was held in the People's Square on the university campus. The gathering was attended by Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education Affairs; deans and vice deans of faculties; Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, Student Activities Coordinator and Leader of the Students for Egypt family; faculty members and student activities coordinators from various faculties; Mohamed Ragai, Rapporteur of the Students for Egypt family; Ali Ismail, President of the Student Union; and faculty members. More than 2,000 students from various faculties participated in the gathering, a welcome step to enhance the collective spirit and strengthen communication and cohesion among university students.

Prof.Cherif Khater congratulated the students on the occasion of Ramadan, expressing his pleasure to be among them. He wished them goodness, blessings, and prosperity. He also praised the excellent organization of the group iftar, which lays the foundations for respect and affection among university students. He emphasized the university's role in preparing student cadres capable of assuming responsibility. He also highlighted the role of the Students for Egypt family in motivating students to participate in all activities and also to express their opinions on various issues and topics.

Prof. Mohamed Attia highlighted the university's constant commitment to communicating with its students through the annual iftar at the university, where students gather in a joyful family atmosphere that brings together the university administration and students.

For their part, the students expressed their pleasure with the university's interest in them, hoping for the continuation of such activities that strengthen the family spirit between students and staff.

The group iftar was followed by a Ramadan evening that included artistic performances of religious chanting and the tanoura.
