Mansoura University President Honors Winners of the University's Ramadan Tournament

Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, honored the winning teams in the 20th Expanded Ramadan Tournament, held under the theme "Partnership for Human Development." The tournament was organized by the Faculty Staff Club at Mansoura University, with the participation of several Delta Region Alliance universities. The honoring ceremony followed the final round matches held on March 19, 2025 in the covered hall of the Olympic Village.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Hamdan Rabie, President of Damietta University; Prof. Montaser Dawoud, President of Samanoud University of Technology; Prof. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development at Mansoura University; Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research at Mansoura University; the Vice Presidents of the Alliance universities participating in the Ramadan Tournament; Prof. Abdel Qader Mohamed, Chairman of the Faculty Club Board of Directors; Prof.  Maha El Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Treasurer of the Club; deans and vice deans at Mansoura University; and a number of faculty members, staff, and students.

In the Universities Championship, Damietta University won 1st place, while Mansoura University took 2nd place. Prof. Hamdan Rabie, President of Damietta University, received the Best Player award, Dr. Mohamed Amasha was named Best Goalkeeper, and Dr. Ahmed Moussa was named the tournament's top scorer.

In the Mansoura University Faculties Championship (over 18 years old), the Faculty of Agriculture won first place, and the Faculty of Engineering took second place. Dr. Mohamed Sabry won the Best Player award, Dr. Walid Shaaban was named Best Goalkeeper, and Professor Wael Siddiq was named the tournament's top scorer.

In the Mansoura University Faculties Championship (under 18 years old), the Faculty of Physical Education won first place, and the Faculty of Engineering took second place. Dr. Mohamed Ezzat was named Best Player, Dr. Abdel Razek El-Ghazali was named Best Goalkeeper, and Dr. Shehab El-Din El-Sherbassi was named the tournament's top scorer.

In the billiards championship, Dr. Sayed Basil won first place, while Dr. Ahmed Samir took second place. In the table tennis championship, Dr. Abdel Rahman Al-Bat won first place, while Dr. Mahmoud Al-Saudi took second place. In the chess championship, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Tahami won first place, while Dr. Youssef Hossam took second place.

Captain Tarek Habib, Executive Director of the Dakahlia Football Branch, Captain Awad Saafan, Chairman of the Referees Committee, and the tournament referees, Captain Marwa Al-Maghribi, Captain Mustafa Al-Shazly, and Captain Islam Hisham, were also honored. Mr. Ahmed Al-Ashry, Director General of Student Care, and Captain Mustafa Al-Maamly, Executive Director of the Olympic Village, were also honored.
