Under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Mansoura University Wins 15 Awards at the Closing Ceremony of the 13th Ebd'a Festival
Mansoura University participated in the closing ceremony of the 13th Ebd'a Festival for University Youth, which featured a variety of activities in the fields of literature, science, and the arts. The festival was held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The event was attended by Prof. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, along with a host of executive and academic leaders, public figures, media professionals, artists, and intellectuals.
Mansoura University delegation was headed by Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and was supervised by Dr. Walid Tantawy, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, Coordinator of Student Activities; Mr. Ahmed El-Ashry Hilal, Director General of Student Welfare; Ali Ismail, President of Mansoura University Student Union; and Ahmed Salah, Vice President of the Union.
Prof. Cherif Khater stated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's generous patronage of this national festival reflects the state's true belief in the role of youth and affirms that creativity has become a priority for the new republic, as it is a fundamental driver of sustainable development and a strategic tool for human development. His Excellency also extended his appreciation to Prof. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, for his sponsorship of this major creative festival and his commitment to providing platforms that embrace the energies of university youth. He congratulated the winning students, emphasizing that Mansoura University's participation in the "Creativity" Festival comes within the framework of its constant commitment to supporting talented and creative individuals, based on its belief that the university is not merely an academic institution, but rather an incubator for young talent in various cultural, artistic, and scientific fields. He also praised the efforts made by the Education and Student Sector, headed by Porf. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, the deans of the faculties, and all faculty and staff members, in providing an environment that encourages excellence and creativity.
Porf. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi expressed his pride in the achievements of the university's students, emphasizing that this success is the result of the integrated efforts of students, faculty, and continuous institutional support. This success reflects the university's commitment to preparing distinguished and innovative young cadres.
It is worth noting that the 13th edition of the "Creativity" Festival witnessed exceptional participation, with more than 75,000 students representing 170 universities, institutes, and academies, both public and private, across the country. The festival was held in the Grand Conference Hall at Cairo University.
Mansoura University students won 15 awards in the fields of fine arts, singing, theater, hymns, scientific innovation, and community initiatives. They are: Youssef Adham Mohamed Ismail, Jasmine George Ibrahim Zaki, Maged Lotfy Mustafa Aqda, Tia Ashraf Mohamed, Martina Raafat Nashahi, Mohamed Fawzy El-Saeed, Mohamed Nabil Mohamed Abdel Salam, Mohamed Ahmed Mahmoud Awad, Amani Mohamed Ibrahim El-Sayed, Ibrahim Mohamed Ibrahim El-Sayed, Mahmoud Mohamed Abdel Aziz Sherbas, Mariam Mustafa Heda, Karim Mohamed Gomaa, Abdel Rahman Nasr El-Sayed, and Karim Hisham Abdel Muttalib.
Participation was supervised by Prof. Hamada Abdel Aziz, Director of the Scientific and Technological Activities Department, Prof. Reham Abdel Kader, Director of the Cultural Activities Department, and Dr. Dalia Khalifa, Director of the Artistic Activities Department.
