Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University Participates in a Training Program in China on "Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing"

As part of Mansoura University's commitment to supporting continuous education and training, exchanging international academic expertise, and developing highly qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with global advancements in healthcare, and under the auspices of Prof. Cherif Khater, President of the University, and the leadership of Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University, participated in an international training program held in China entitled "Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing."
The program was organized by the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the People's Republic of China and included scientific and training activities in Beijing and Chongqing, with the participation of representatives from universities and academic staff from around the world.
This participation comes within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation and cultural exchange between Mansoura University and international universities and research institutions, contributing to the development of the education and scientific research system in the fields of nursing and complementary medicine.
The training program covered several practical aspects of traditional Chinese medicine, including hands-on training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, and music therapy. It also included field visits to hospitals and specialized medical centers in Chongqing and intensive courses at the Chinese Academy of Traditional Medicine in Beijing.
During the program's closing ceremony, Prof. Abeer Zakaria was chosen to deliver the graduates' address on behalf of the participating international delegations. She expressed her deep appreciation for the opportunities such programs provide for scientific and cultural exchange, emphasizing that Mansoura University's participation in such initiatives reflects its commitment to its mission of developing health education and raising the professional standards of nursing staff in accordance with international standards.
